The Arenal Jungle Zipline guides are highly prepared in safety practices. They know the jungle and wildlife, and are professionals that will accompany you throughout this zipline adventure.
Your adventure begins either with a 20 minute tractor ride or a 45 minute horse ride (optional add on). Once at the observation deck you will begin a guided half hour natural history walk to learn about the tropical ecosystem of the jungle before you arrive at the first platform and cable. The Jungle Zipline course utilizes only high quality equipment which is constantly checked and renewed to ensure your safety. The cables are located in such a way that they start from platforms at ground level ensuring that if a tree or a large branch did fall, it would not affect the zipline. The cables, 11 in total, span lengths of 200 meters up to almost 1000 meters and there is a spectacular 18 meter high observation tower. Each zipline cable offers a different sensation and experience crossing massive canyons, observing waterfalls (Fortuna & Pino Blanco), and all under the shadow of the majestic Arenal Volcano. |
