This tour is your chance to discover the heart of Costa Rica, beautiful museums, historical sites. You will see the beautiful Sabana Park on the western side of downtown then to the cathedral. Later enjoy a stroll through Costa Rica's finest masterpiece of architecture, the Teatro Nacional (historic National Theater) that was completed in 1897. Then immerse yourself in the unique under ground highly secure gold museum that houses Costa Rica's priceless pieces of pre colombia art made from gold.

The tour continues eastwards to the Univeristy of Costa Rica and the Supreme Court & Registry as well as other important sites of interest. During this capital tour, you will enjoy shopping how locals traditionally shopped - at the Central Market. And you will stop at a Costa Rican pastry shop where you can enjoy a small pastry and coffee or a juice of local fruit. You will get the opportunity to see beautiful arts and crafts for sale (but you will never feel pressure to buy anything). This is an excellent tour if you only have an afternoon to spare. |
